Frizzle Chicken Cafe
Ate here while visiting brown county state park and staying overnight. It was very good food and the coffee was endless

This is our usual hiking park as it is closest to home and has plenty for the kids to do.
McCormick's Creek State Park
Absolutely the best ice cream flavors and is a local favorite for sure to most everyone
Jiffy Treet
One of the nicer playgrounds for kids where you can let them just go play and not have to worry about what they are doing cause the play spot is all enclosed

Outdoor Activities
These spots are where we go to get into nature or have outdoor activities we can take our kiddos to
Spent an entire day here zip lining with my oldest son. Lots of fun and hiking trails were cool.
Foxfire Adventure Park
Great playground and water area for kids to play and area for hiking or working out for the adults
Switchyard Park
Took my kids here on vacation to play. Was a lovely beach to play on and the views were amazing
Honeymoon Island State Park
Fun place for the kids that don't cost an arm and leg for water fun outside
Splash Island
Places to stay
Rented one of their cabins for a week very affordable with pool in basement and hot tub on the porch it was amazing
Sherwood Forest Resort
Great place for the kids to swim in the winter time and very affordable. We love going here
Big Splash Adventure
Cute little hotel inside the park with a water park and a wonderful little restaurant inside.
Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park
This was not the most luxurious spot on the beach but it was in fact on the beach and just big enough for what we needed. I woke up and fell asleep on the beach so I have no complaints

This was worth the drive to see with the kids. Everyone should go see this once with their kiddos.
