I made one for each of my kids out of expired rice we had but this is a comfort item for my kids. when they are sick and cold they cuddle up with one of these. we use them alot even when not sick.
we always have homeapothy kits on hand and actually use our local health food store to stock up on the ones we use frequently for colds/fevers… like belladonna and more.
when the kids are sick, a popsicle can cheer them up and also keep them hydrated. if they are throwing up, this might be all they can keep down.
i TRY to make it fresh in the instapot if we are getting sick.. but thats not always possible so we keep some in the pantry. this and saltines is a comfort meal for upset tummies.
