Some of the things I love to do in Indy on a regular basis.
Map
See several famous people's graves. Lots of acres and beautiful scenery. Take a stroll to the hill where you can see the downtown skyline.
Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery
Old tunnels to explore
Catacombs
Explore the canals, downtown Indy, the zoo and more all from this general area
Indianapolis Canal Walk
A beautiful and comfortable hotel to stay in for exploring the downtown area
JW Marriott Indianapolis
An amazing art gallery and gardens. They have seasonal events so it's great anytime of the year.
Newfields
The Worlds largest children's museum right here in Indy. Great places to take kids for hours of running out their energy and fun.
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Walk through history, learn and experience it yourself. This place has lots to see and do. There are seasonal events as well. A truly remarkable experience.
Conner Prairie: Indiana's Living History Museum
A fun experience with kids or without. You not only get to see the animals but can feed and watch the programs they put on.
Indianapolis Zoo
A wonderful trail to take you through the city. You can walk, bike, or ride a scooter on it. There are many shops and dining places along the way if you need a break.
Monon Trail
A stroll of shopping, eating and art. Right downtown is a street that stretches through with lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and art murals to enjoy. Another great strip for biking, walking or using a scooter.
Massachusetts Avenue
Part of the Indianapolis Canals, but more of just the green section. There are summer concerts, fireworks, and several events that happen right here in the heart of it all.
White River State Park
Indy is known the the Indy500 race, this is a must see. Even if you're not there on race day, it's an amazing experience to see where it's at and the history of racing here. There's a museum and many cool attractions around the area.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway | Home
One of the few remaining drive in theaters that remain. They recently did an upgrade and it's amazing.
Tibbs Drive-In
A little neighborhood in Indy that has a small town charm feel to it. Its gone through updates throughout in businesses and homes. Its fun to look around the shops and explore what's new.
Fountain Square
Art indoors and out overlooking part of the White River. Sculptures all around, room to roam and enjoy the blisss.
