Great little park for kids. Shaded and clean restrooms!
Meyer Park | Gulf Shores, AL - Official Website
This is one of my kids’ favorites. It’s huge and lots tp explore. There is also only one entry/exit point which I like as a mom.
Gulf Shores Kids Park
We love this one! It has a rubber floor and is new. There are shades benches for parents and only one entry/exit point.
Foley Kids Park
This is a city property. It’s public but pay-to-park. The water is really shallow and usually very clear. My kids love catching dozens of hermit crabs here! Stay on the lagoon side with little kids - passing under the bridge the water can get rough.
Little Lagoon Pass Park | Gulf Shores, AL - Official Website
This is pretty pricey, but if it’s in the budget, it’s a ton of fun!
Gulf Shores, AL | Go-Karts | Skycoaster | Arcade – The Track & Fat Daddy's
There is a cute little playground near the Gulf Place parking. My kids love to play on the nets and the little ship. There are bathrooms close by as well.

Restaurants
This is our favorite date night spot. The coconut shrimp is amazing and the burger with pineapple is great, too! Small parking lot, city parking so you have to pay to park during peak season unless you have a local tag.
Bahama Bob's
We love the Pink Pony! The coconut shrimp is really good and so is the fried shrimp. The views are unbeatable. Be sure to ask for an outdoor seat!
Pink Pony Pub
This is owned by the sweetest couple and it is delicious! It’s a must visit when you’re in the area!
OSO at Bear Point
About a 25 minute drive from the main beach area, but it’s worth it if you want some great BBQ!
Moe’s BBQ
This is definitely a hot tourist spot and there is usually a wait, but it’s pretty good if you are wanting seafood!
The Original Oyster House
This kind of looks like a hole in the wall and I think that’s why it’s so good. It’s loved by the locals!
Fish River Grill
The food is good, but the atmosphere is the best part! It’s definitely an experience that’s worth trying on your trip!
1000% the favorite restaurant among the locals! You WILL need a reservation, but it is amazing.
Jesse's Restaurant
This is our favorite local pizza place! They’re quick, too. Even during busy season!
Crico's Pizza & Subs
We love Tin Top! We usually see dolphins while we’re there! Food is excellent! Service is a hit or miss, so keep that in mind. It’s still worth it!
The Tin Top Restaurant & Oyster Bar
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area! The strawberry margarita is delicious.
Agave Bar & Grill
Icecream + Treats
Listen, they have an oatmeal cream pie flavored icecream. I get it every single time.
Island Ice Cream & Treats - Gulf Shores
Expensive but a fun experience. They have a little splash pad outside that my kids love. There is outdoor seating and a little cornhole area, too.
The Yard Milkshake Bar
The BEST donuts in Gulf Shores! They have minion donuts every day and my kids always beg to go get one.
Lickin Good Donuts in Gulf Shores
Coffee Shops
Super fun atmosphere and they make a delicious matcha latte! I love their seasonal drinks, too.
Foam Coffee
This is probably my favorite coffee shop in the area. Drive thru only. My go to order is: iced coffee with milk, white chocolate, and a toasted marshmallow cold foam with sprinkles! So good! I get it at least once a week!
Beach Girl Coffee
Although it can be pricey, the drinks are great and the baristas are SO friendly! I love going in and doing a couple hours of computer work here. There is a lot of comfortable seating.
Happy Pappys Coffeehouse
So technically this is in foley, however, if you like matcha… they make the BEST frozen or iced matcha I’ve ever had. I love them! They do have a drive thru around the back, I didn’t notice until I’d been a few times.
Drowsy Poet at The Foley Station
My friend calls this the “bad donkey” coffee shop. 😆 it’s really good. Ask for the coffee ice cubes!!
