This is the monitor arm I use. Yes, it's more expensive but definitely worth the price. This thing is *solid* and I think it will last forever. Also, these arms are reconfigurable--you can buy extra parts to raise the height or even turn it into a multi-monitor setup. It can be attached to your desk using either a clamp or the grommet hole. I strongly suggest using the grommet – you'll never have to worry about it falling off.
