Finding decent fitting hiking clothing for women can be hard. Here are some of my favorites that I’ve taken on short hikes to high altitude climbs.

This is my favorite hard shell for high altitude climbs. This jacket has gotten me to the top of Mt Rainier and back down! I like to size up so I can fit this over my down jacket while hiking.

I go hood less for my down jacket because that’s where my rain coat/hard shell comes into play with the hood.

Hiking in wet conditions with bulky shoes or equipment can be hard. The full length zippers make it easier to take them on and off. Love these for rainy climbs.

All my socks for any climb or hike are by darn tough. They last and are moisture wicking. These are great for mountaineering.

If you get blisters easily then you need to try liner socks! They make a world of a difference under your hiking socks.

I’ve taken these gloves everywhere on hikes and climbs. They are always in my bag. I have used them for when cables are present and even ice climbing.

Love using these as a lighter pair of gloves to protect my hands. They’re warm and I’m still able to keep a good grip on whatever equipment I’m carrying like my ice axe.

If you need a thinner beanie to wear under a helmet or hood this one is my favorite.
