Great beach RV camping! Grab a permit from a local gas station and pay close attention to the rules so you don’t get stuck!
Port Aransas Beach
This campground is conveniently located close to the park entrance. We spend a few nights there- our favorite feature was the river running behind our site. We put our chairs in it and just relaxed. ☺️
Zion Canyon Campground and RV Resort
Beautiful campground- offered a shuttle during Oktoberfest to the festivities. Also close to one of our favorite hikes- colchuck lake!
Icicle River RV Park
One of our favorite KOAs we have ever stayed at! The patio sites are spacious and private- and they even have double decker patios!
Tucson / Lazydays KOA Resort
Affordable waterfront spot, close to all the San Diego activities? Yes please!
Mission Bay RV Resort
One of the most lively campgrounds we have ever stayed in! They had all sorts of activities, and it was a great home base to explore Virginia Beach!

You can’t beat a 10 minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite! You also have access to the pool, hot tub, rec room, bar & restaurant!
Indian Flat RV Park
Just a short walk to the casino (which it gives you coupons for)! We only stayed here one night on a road trip, but it’s one of the most unique KOAs we have stayed in.

Amazing free camping right near the springs! Our 34 ft RV was able to fit during the winter while it was empty, but I wouldn’t suggest more than 25 ft during busy season.
Bridgeport Travertine Hot Springs Dispersed Camping - The Dyrt
