I went with Suunto when I needed a new sports watch. Prior to then I was Garmin all the way. Still rate Garmin but I find Suunto is a better interface for me. It is easy to use, covers all the sports and metrics I need and Never has system failures!

Love this pairing when you need exact HR data. The watch itself is fab but there are times you need a little bit more tenderness for tracking and these HR belts are comfortable and deadly accurate.
While the watch has an inbuilt HR monitor for absolutely accuracy in tracking I add in the belt. This allows me to ideally place right on the rib cage direct to the systolic and diastolic beats of my heart
