📍Good Spots – Food, Views & Vibes
Foodies, this one’s for you. From rooftop cocktails to grab-and-go Cuban sandwiches, these are spots that combine flavor, views, and energy. Whether you want casual or classy, you’ll find your next go-to here.
If you’re into clean aesthetics, natural lighting, and overpriced (but worth it) lattes—this is your spot. I go for the brunch and stay for the bookshop vibes. Great for content days or chill Sundays.
Oxford Exchange
This is my go-to for out-of-town guests. The food is consistent, the view is beautiful right on the Riverwalk, and their charbroiled oysters? Chef’s kiss. It’s a little pricey, but the ambiance delivers.
Ulele
Think picnic tables, string lights, and food stalls. Super casual. I love it for low-key hangouts, quick bites, or catching sunset with a drink in hand. The tacos are always a win.
Sparkman Wharf
A rooftop with city + water views and comfy lounge vibes. I’ve been for girls’ night and date night—it never misses. Drinks are solid, and the views are better.
Birchwood Canopy
Tiny spot, huge flavors. Best Cuban sandwich in the area hands-down. Their fresh juices are bomb too—I usually grab a guava juice and chill at the outside tables.
Bodega on Central
Tucked into the heart of Ybor City, The Flan Factory is a local gem that serves up Cuban comfort food and hands-down the best flan I’ve ever had.

🗺️ Places to Visit
Whether you’re in the mood to explore, unwind, or experience some local culture, these places are worth the stop. Great for solo days, family outings, or showing off the city to visitors.
I’ve walked this path a dozen times, and it never gets old. Safe, scenic, and full of great pit stops—coffee shops, playgrounds, waterfront views. It’s a perfect morning or sunset stroll.
Tampa Riverwalk
Surprisingly impressive. Super clean, well-organized, and great for kids or adults. It’s a solid rainy-day or heatwave activity. The jellyfish tank is a personal favorite.
The Florida Aquarium
Even if you’re not “into art,” this place is captivating. The building is stunning and the exhibits are immersive. I always leave feeling inspired.
The Dalí Museum
Feels like you’ve stepped into a hidden jungle. Peaceful, shady, and perfect for photos or quiet walks. I took my kids and they loved spotting the flamingos and koi fish.
Sunken Gardens
A vibe all its own. It’s historic, colorful, and full of character. You’ll smell cigars and fresh Cuban bread at the same time. Daytime for chill vibes, nighttime for dancing and energy.

🎟️ Activities & Experiences
If you’re looking for things to do—not just see—this list has you covered. From adrenaline-pumping rides to serene beach spots, these activities are worth blocking off time for.
A classic for a reason. Rollercoasters + animals = the best of both worlds. It’s surprisingly fun for adults, not just kids. I love the mix of rides and shaded animal zones.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
This place has it all: restaurants, a splash pad, art installations, and killer sunset views. Whether you’re with kids or on a date, it’s an easy win. I always leave feeling like I “did something,” even just walking it.
St. Pete Pier
This is where I go when I want a real beach day. Less crowded than Clearwater, with soft sand and calm water. Bring snacks and towels—it’s a full-day vibe.
Fort De Soto Park
An underrated little nature escape. The boardwalk winds over the water and you’ll usually spot birds, turtles, and even gators. Peaceful and local—great for morning resets.
Lettuce Lake Park
Blown glass art that somehow manages to be both relaxing and mind-blowing. It’s not a long visit, but it’s beautiful, unique, and the perfect “do something different” activity.
Morean Arts Center
This Plant City gem is the perfect blend of rustic charm and weekend fun. From blueberry wine tastings to live music and food trucks, Keel & Curley offers more than just a glass of wine—it’s an experience.
