We are in August now and there is less than a month left of summer vacation to enjoy! This list will have a combined of toys and activities that we have done that will help make it easier for young parents to do!

A classic day trip that I highly suggest for this age group as it is fascinating to see all the different animals and a great walk for kids and adults a like! We like to fill our backpacks with snacks and lots of water to save some money on our trip

Another great day time activity and has a great splash pad to enjoy! again, snacks and lots of water is a high recommend
African Lion Safari
have you been to the butterfly conservatory? if not, this is a great half day trip that is great for education for all! Bonus is I find the employees are great at bringing different insects out for children to touch and even hold

any splash pad is a great time for children but if you are in the waterloo region and are able to go to the St. George splash pad this one is a hidden gem

the library is always a go to stop on a rainy or even just too hot of a day to enjoy, get some books and checking the calendar there are lots of free events!

farmers markets are a great half day event that can teach children the joy of the market and having fresh fruits and veggies are a bonus

there are vast toys that are STEAM and science orientated that are good for sparking some problem solving inside
