Downtown shops
If you go to NFLD, one thing you have to do is get screeched in! It is an amazing experience from learning about NFLD, kissing cod and just having a good time in good company. Heads up; you do have to book in advance and I suggest checking out Christ...
Christian's Pub
A really cool restaurant that I went to with my bestie on my first night. It has all the seafood essentials and the nice part is, you can see the dock (when it isnt foggy) and enjoy a gorgeous view of downtown! A secret local tip is going to Costco b...
St. John's Fish Exchange Kitchen & Wet Bar
a classic pub in downtown core that was recommended as the best fish and “dressing” with gravy which I can say is WELL worth it!
Duke of Duckworth
I went to the historical Bagel Cafe with my bestie when I was down and had the honour of trying a Touton! Like fried pancake heaven and very filling! Would recommend as an experience!
Bagel Cafe
now I went in May so the street was not packed but in downtown St. Johns, they close this street down for parties and I would love to see this in the summer some time!
George St
this cutie pie bakery is so good and unfortunately was closed on the long weekend but my besties husband was able to get us some goods before they closed! Would try again
The Old Dublin Bakery

just a little drive from downtown a perfect view of the ocean and a neat little town with local fares! This is where the famous Ice Berg beer was created and you have to try it from the source!
Quidi Vidi Brewery
fantastic hike and really awesome on top seeing the old cannons and bonus, seeing where my best friend got engaged! Worth it to check out yourself
Signal Hill National Historic Site
The most eastern part of Canada is located on Cape Spear! I went when it was very foggy but it was so cool to see the lighthouses, the old prison cells and walk around and see the amazing scenery! Will check out again
Cape Spear
We went to the town of Dildo, NFLD (yes so funny) which I think Jimmy Kimmel references? Anyway, to get the best merch you have to go to Nan and Pop's Dildo Souvenir shop!
Nan & Pop's Dildo Souvenir Shop - Newfoundland and Labrador
Of course we checked out the brewery and it was a smashing time! Loved the spin dip, still think of it to this day. Perfect view on the patio of the Dildo sign!
Dildo Brewing Company & Museum - Newfoundland and Labrador
After Dildo Brewery we went to the coffee house for a pick me up! Would recommend as it also has incredible views and good coffee!
Dildo Coffee House
This beach is damn lovely and im so jealous of my bestie getting this around the corner from her house! It is perfect because you can have a fire on the beach as there are pits to do so! Rock beach but it ROCKS
Middle Cove Beach
You know you gotta have Mary Browns while in NFLD; its advertised everywhere and is still so good
Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters
We went to the Urban Market and loved all the in house small businesses in here! I was full but lots of good food options here too
Urban Market 1919
Well worth it for the views and suspension bridge! Not too bad of a hike just stay hydrated! Also super cool seeing very old buildings and a town that was there before that is not anymore. Also awesome that people are camping out there! Love love lov...
La Manche Suspension Bridge Trail
Places I want to go to next time
Would love to check out this view as it is a good trail but couldnt squish it into the time we were there!
Cobbler Path
Right by Quidi Vidi and lots of mountain bike trails. There are blueberry trails to hand pick your own blueberries but need to do this in August!
Sugarloaf Path
Although difficult hike to go on it is on my list as it would be really cool to explore! My bestie and her husband said it is worth it but on my list for next time.
B-36 Crash Site Walk, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
We walked in near close but it was still a vibe I want to check out! Right on the corner of George st
