This is similar to farro but a bit with a bit more bite! Tastes like whatever flavor you add to it! I cook it in broth! Will NOT spike your blood sugar!

Rice cakes are an amazing way to get a treat or even make a meal much more sugar friendly. I add melted dark chocolate chips on top of a caramel or plain rice cake and yum!

Add a little sprinkle of ground flax seed to your smoothies or salads, and it will slow down the glucose absorption! Which, you guessed it, helps lower that blood sugar spike!
