Whether you are an experienced outdoors person or a novice camper, if you are planning to camp in a remote area in a National Forest, it's paramount to consider SAFETY FIRST.
I have, unfortunately, seen damage to some of the areas I most love. Nature does it's part, but too much is done by careless people.
In the wilderness, it's important to treat others as you would like to be treated. Be kind, follow the rules, and always be ready to help someone in need. They might only have you available!
One of the really fun aspects of camping is definitely the cooking! I don't know why, but everything just tastes better when cooked and eaten outdoors. Maybe it goes back to our primitive beginnings?
