Things My 18 Month Old was Obsessed With
When he's not trying to do whatever his big brother is doing, these are some of the things our 1.5 year old is interested in now.
Books
This is a really fun interactive book, both of our kids have enjoyed this one.
The “Never Touch A”, “Never Feed A” etc. books are great for the 6-2year old age range where they want to touch/taste everything. These books have different textures, colours and so many different themes.
We're a big Boynton family. Our older son seemed to like all of the books with Hippos + Dino Dance, the younger one is interested in all of the books with a song and/or barnyard animals.
This book has become a household jingle. It's how we used to start our wind down to bedtime every night when my eldest was younger and now our tiny little dino is going dibbity dee also.
Outdoor Play
Our kids love flinging frogs and catching fish in this interactive water table. The legs and extension pieces are easily removable for off-season storage.
His big brother has started riding a pedal bike and the little one is right behind him on the strider.
Bath Time
Our boys and nieces love Bubble Whoosh bubble bath. It safely turns the water a vibrant colour and smells lovely.
Similar to the Bubble Whoosh but bath bomb style. They also get a fun shaped sponge when the bath bomb is done.
Both of our boys love these drip drop cups in the bath and water table activities.
Toys
The Cocomelon bus and the Tractor set are both big hits for the littlest in our house. He loves stuffing the bus full of his farm animals and taking them on adventures
This summer he was all about the wheels on the bus, but we're into farms now. The Little People set is a classic and folds up so it's slim when it's being stored.
Both of our boys absolutely love this ride on John Deere. The seat opens up to a little farm with spots to put the animals that come with it.
