Halloween is sneaking up on us… Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and the Halloween parties are some of the best! I feel like it really kickstarts the holiday-season.

Anyway, Iøve had my fair share of experience in creating costumes for halloween, so now I am sharing all of that knowledge with you guys. Hopefully you'll feel a little inspired.

Back in 2023, I was a pirate for Halloween. Not only did I feel super comfortable in my costume, but I also got sooo mange compliments. So now I am sharing my costume recipe with you guys. Here's my homemade pirate costume.

Cute white dress to function as the base of you pirate costume. Can also work as cute dress afterwards. win-win.

Off Shoulder Romper with Puff Sleeve

Corset to add to the pirate look. I got mine in black, but you can choose from a long list of colors. Super comfortable as it has an elastic.

Women Corset Belt Elastic Lace-up

No pirate without boots! I didn't have any at home that fit the outfit, so I bought these to match the vibe.

Closed Round Toe Buckle Slouch Mid-Calf Boot

An absolute must to make your outfit. The fishnet is in my opinion what makes it super pirate-y, so don't miss out on this one.

High Waist Fishnet Tights

Could be replaced or combined with a pirate hat. I personally liked the scarf better. Also comes in a few different colors to match your aesthetic.

Head Scarf for Women

For those of you with thicker hair. These look SO GOOD for this pirate outfit.

Everybody loves a sailor, right? This costume is a little less used than pirate, but I lowkey think it is so cute, and I love the fact that you can reuse both the top and shirt for your everyday use. Or maybe you already have something similar in you...

Buy it in the color Navy. Super comfortable, super cute and the best part is you can use it for your workouts later.

Womens Tennis Skirt Pleated Athletic Skirts

Buy in white! The framing of the sleeves makes this fit perfect for the marine-vibe + it looks super cute, and you can even use it after the halloween-party.

Super important! Tie this one around your neck to add to the sailing-feel. I feel like this really combines the outfit.

Could also be a captains-hat, but I think this one is so cute! It is adjustable so I would say it fits most headsizes.

These shoes in white, red, pink or blue looks so good with this outfit. It is definitely an optional, but I really feel like it elevates the tone of the outfit.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite stories, and I have a deep love for the ocean, so this costume feels rather personal to me.
Showing up to a party as a marmaid or siren is definitely gonna make people looks twice. Plus, it's a fun make-up challenge as well, where you can get super creative.

MY DREAM. This dress is perfect for a siren or mermaid costume. I bit more to the costly side, but I would love to wear this for this year's halloween.

ASOS LUXE - Pink minidress

You prefer long dresses? No problem! This dress screams hot mermaid, and is not as heavily priced as the other one, but is still just as gorgeous.

ASOS DESIGN - blue asymmetric mididress

Even a mermaid need to stay warm. And this top is the perfect add-on to any of the dresses or skirts with a bikinitop under.

South Beach - Blue top

Combine this with either the halterneck or a bikinitop with the south beach top, and you will be the hottest mermaid at the party. Guaranteed.
