Mostly parks and free locations so you can go again and again without cost.
This is a great weekend farmers market during the summer with so many options. I appreciate that they include farmed food options, as it seems less and less markets have these in higher quantities.
Southwest Plaza Farmers Market
Lovely place to go for a stroll - and it's free. It's right off the Platte trail so easy access to or from that. There is also a nice coffee shop near the trail. It's a short walk so appeals to families or friends wanting to catch up.
The Hudson Gardens & Event Center
Kids love the hands on activities here. They offer a few big family events each year that offer a fun chance for the kids to history in action.
Littleton Museum
It's a flat walking loop perfect for letting kids explore, ride bikes or for a run.
Harriman Lake Park
Restaurants
Our most popular destinations when we ask each other “what's for dinner?”
Our go to sushi pick up spot. It's also fun to sit on the floor with a group, which is fun experience we haven't found at any other sushi restaurant.
Eeny Meeny Sushi Roll
Only done the take out here and it's amazing. We split a meal for 2 among our family of 4 and still have leftovers. Everything is delicious!
Namaste Restaurant | Lakewood
This is one of those fun experience restaurants. You order your seafood and heat level and then dump it on the table to enjoy with your hands and a bib.
The Crawling Crab
These are hands down the best bagels I have found. I’m not a NYC bagel connoisseur to compare, but these are amazing. The homemade veggie cream cheese is a must.
New York Bagel Cafe
Other Food & Drinks
A few of the little tucked away shopping mall locations for small businesses we love to support.
I've only had the pies here and they were all amazing - way better than what I could make. It's our popular birthday pie spot.
Granny Scott's Pie Shop
Love the cozy atmosphere here. It can get crowded, but that's how you know it's good!
Cafe Olé
Every single drink here is art. They are beautiful and taste better. It's a little bit hidden away.
