I say backed by science because I feel like there are a lot of sustainable swaps based on flawed knowledge or assumptions in the “low-tox” lifestyle which I believe demonizes any chemical as a toxin. I mostly focus on sustainability for the planet, avoiding microplastics and reducing my use of harsh chemicals (not all chemicals since water, salt and citric acid are all chemicals!).

These are all the extra things I got to make myself feel a little better while having PPD!

Not really essentials since all you need to read is a book but these are all the things that make me enjoy reading ever more and also things that have made it easy for me to read as a busy nursing mom!

Just thought it would be helpful to have a list of useful things as a second time mom and items that we should rebuy for health and safety reasons!
