Cruise Essentials for making my life easier
Essentials items I always pack in my suitcase for every cruise.
Cruises don't always have a lot of charging plugs, and they don't allow surge protected power strips. We have used this one on every cruise we've been on.
These are great for ensuring your luggage gets to the right room. You can staple your luggage tag, but I don't always trust that.
Most cruise ship rooms are enclosed metal, these give you extra places to hang your purses, lanyards, fans, towels, and more.
If you're going on a Caribbean cruise this will help keep your room cool, it moves a large amount of air for how small it is. We just use a magnetic hook on the ceiling of our room and hang this above our bed. It does a great job for such a small fan.

This is my all time favorite bag for traveling. You can fit a ton of stuff in it and it's easy to carry.
We always bring a lanyard to keep our room key on. Tip: You can get your key hole punched at customer service.
These are perfect for storing your dirty laundry, just open it up and throw it in the closet of your room. We just toss this in our suitcase when it's time to leave.
We hang this on our bathroom door and keep all of our extra toiletries or other small things.
Organize your things in packing cubes before you leave, then you just need to pull out the cube and put it on a shelf or in a drawer. Stash your suitcase under your bed.

I always keep a box of zip bags in my suitcase. Great for grabbing extra snacks from the buffet, or tossing your wet swimsuit in it.
These work perfectly for keeping all of your cords organized.
There is ONE outlet in most rooms and it's on the other side of the room from the beds. This will help you get power around the room.

My husband uses this to tape all the cords down so we don't break a leg while walking around the room. Gaffers tape is preferred because it doesn't leave a residue like duct tape does.
We use this to hang the shoe organizer on the bathroom door if the hooks don't fit over the door. And to keep our electric cords organized.
This is a great multipurpose spray, pack light, rewear clothes, and use the wrinkle releaser when you unpack.
Your room steward cleaned your room before you go there, but I always make sure to wipe everything down before we unpack.
Hook this on your lanyard & keep yourself away from illness by using it OFTEN. There are hand sanitizer stations or wash stations by the dining room and buffet, but sometimes they are empty. If you think you're over-using it you might be using it enough.
The tissues on the cruise ship is much like hospital tissues, they are terrible! If you use tissues often I would bring a box. You could wait to get to port, but it will cost you. more.
Cruise Ships normally provide body wash, shampoo & hand soap. If you have a preference, bring your own.
