Buying single-color packs was bleeding my wallet dry. One bulk multicolor pack covers birthdays, holidays, and random Tuesday gifts without a second trip to the store.

Mixing two or three solid colors inside one bag is how you get that fluffy, department store look. One flat sheet sitting in there alone looks sad and we both know it.

Regular tissue is fine for Tuesday. But weddings, anniversaries, or the friend who notices everything? That's when you pull out the metallic sheets.

Too small and the tissue sticks out weird. Too big and everything collapses inside. Medium bags are the workhorse size that fits 90% of what I actually give people.

Blankets, robes, big boxed items. Stuffing these into regular bags never works and wrapping paper on weird shapes is a nightmare I refuse to relive.

Sometimes you need filler at the bottom, not just tissue on top. Shredded paper makes baskets and open-top boxes look full without spending more on actual gifts.

A bag with tissue but no ribbon is like a sentence without a period. You're almost there but something feels unfinished. These close the deal.

Writing someone's name on the bag in Sharpie is technically functional but spiritually empty. A real tag takes four seconds and makes it feel intentional.

Cookie gifts, candy bags, small party favors. Regular bags are overkill and plastic wrap looks desperate. Cellophane is the sweet spot between effort and sanity.

Some gifts are just shaped wrong for bags. Books, framed photos, flat boxes. Paper is still the move sometimes, and having one or two good rolls saves a panicked store run.

All this stuff is useless if it's crammed in a closet getting crushed. One organizer changed my whole system and I stopped rebuying things I already owned but couldn't find.
