Great hikes, fishing, dog park, and shaded playground with bathrooms
Joshua Springs Preserve
Fun hike and great views. Go early. Can park in street outside or parking lot
Friedrich Wilderness Park
A must do and see!!!
Enchanted Rock State Natural Area
Bathrooms and three different playground sections! Very well shaded too!
Raymond Russell Park
Great hike for the whole family! Lots to do. Great photo spots. When there’s water in the creek you can wade and play in it too
Cibolo Nature Center
Weekends can be crowded but definitely a fun spot to swim and hike
Boerne City Lake Park
Good river access and amazing hikes
Desperado Resort
These are more difficult hikes but very beautiful
