This bookstore is hands down my favorite in the area. It is independently owned and it's so cute. They not only have books they also have the cute gifts. Island Books also holds fun events and children's story hour.

Elliott Bay Book Company is located in Capital Hill, so it's in the perfect neighborhood to grab a great lunch or a coffee and then spend then afternoon in. They are open daily and the inside is so lovely.

This used bookstore not only has a large selection of options, but IT HAS CATS! I always leave with a great priced book.
