The whole reason this list exists — curtains that block sunlight during the day and light up with stars at night. My kid literally runs to bed now to watch them glow.

Learned this the hard way when my first set of star curtains crashed to the floor at 2 AM because I used a flimsy tension rod. Never again.

Some windows just laugh at curtains — especially those weird side gaps where light leaks in. Adding film underneath solved the problem completely.

Already have curtains you love but they let too much light through? A liner behind them fixed that without replacing anything.

Nothing is more annoying than installing blackout curtains and still seeing light creeping around the edges. These cheap fixes closed every gap.

Blacking out the bedroom is great until your kid has to walk to the bathroom through a pitch-dark hallway. These solved that without undoing all the darkness work.

Our house has two circle windows and a tiny basement window that no standard curtain fits. Took me forever to figure out covers for those weirdos.

Darkness alone wasn't enough for my light-sleeping kids — adding white noise on top of blackout curtains was the combination that finally cracked the code.

Once the room was dark and quiet, upgrading the actual bed situation was the final piece. My kids went from restless to knocked out cold.
