Store-bought zucchini is tiny and uniform. Garden zucchini is a baseball bat. Most spiralizers choke on anything over 3 inches wide, and I broke two before finding ones that could handle the monsters from my backyard.

The spiralizing part is easy. The cooking part is where everyone messes up. My first dozen batches turned into watery soup on the plate because I was treating zoodles like regular pasta. These tools fixed that.

Plain zucchini noodles taste like plain zucchini. Nobody is fooled. The right sauce does the heavy lifting, and these are the ones that made my family stop asking where the real spaghetti went.

There's a two-week window where my garden goes from ‘oh nice, a few zucchini’ to ‘we physically cannot eat this fast enough.’ These let me spiralize in bulk and freeze so I'm still eating garden zoodles in January.
