Every drink I made looked dull in clear glass. The second I started pouring lemonade into green depression glass, guests stopped mid-conversation to ask where I got them.

I used to serve margaritas in whatever was clean. Once I tracked down actual mid-century cocktail glasses, Friday nights at home started feeling like a real bar.

Pouring fresh OJ into a plastic cup felt wrong every single morning. Small vintage juice glasses turned a rushed breakfast into something I actually looked forward to.

My cabinet was full of chipped promotional mugs from conferences nobody remembers. Replacing them with milk glass and vintage Pyrex mugs made the whole kitchen feel intentional.

Cheap wine in a fancy vintage glass tastes better. I don't make the rules. Once I stopped using my scratched-up modern stems, even boxed rosé felt respectable.

Drinking craft beer from the bottle felt like I was wasting the whole point of buying good beer. Vintage pilsner glasses fixed that problem immediately and made the fridge shelf look cooler too.

Tall drinks deserve tall glasses with personality. I retired my plain highballs after realizing every gin and tonic looked identical and boring no matter what garnish I threw in.

Tried to serve punch at a holiday party from a mixing bowl once. Never again. A real vintage punch set turned a chaotic potluck into something people still talk about.

Started serving ice cream in vintage parfait glasses after a dinner party where everything looked amazing except the sad bowl of vanilla I plopped on the table. Never went back.
