My favorite ways to get active involve being outdoors in nature. But on a rainy day, a great youtube video is another option. And having the right equipment helps too.
There are so many beautiful hikes in my province, many leading to lovely waterfalls and other great scenery
Hiking Trails in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada
This is one of my favorite places in NB. It's dog friendly and you can swim, kayak or paddleboard. There's a nice walk through the woods from the campground too.
Get Active At North Lake Provincial Park
I've climbed several peaks here and the view is amazing from all of them. There is also a campground and a lake where you can swim and kayak. Spending time in the wilderness is a great way to get active and reconnect with nature
Climb To The Top of the Province at Mount Carleton Provincial Park
I recommend doing a loop including Laverty Falls. The trail goes through the woods and along a river plus you get a beautiful waterfall.
Hike to Waterfalls at Fundy National Park
I used to do this trail regularly with my big dog. It's dog friendly and a nice walk through the woods. In the fall you'll see lots of toadstools along the path
Hiking NB - Maliseet Trail
A nice network of trails through the woods. Some go along the river. Dog friendly too.
Meduxnekeag Trail Preserve
This is a great place to walk your dog along the river and avoid the busy town streets
St. John River Valley Trail (Woodstock to Edmundston)
I visited the redwoods in California and it's an amazing place. This brings that wonderful scenery into your home while you walk on your treadmill
Treadmill Virtual Hike Through Redwood National Forest Hike
I love the forest in BC. The trees are so awesome. This reminds me of the time I visited there with my mom and we walked through some trails like this
Hike Through Forest of British Columbia
I'm adding this to my playlist for winter. We get a lot of snow which makes it hard to get out and walk outside. This will be a lot nice to look at while walking on snowy days
Wailea Beach Path, Maui, Hawaii
I visited this park many years ago. This video brings back lots of good memories. I'm adding it to my winter walk inside playlist
Virtual Nature Walk in Borrego Springs Desert Park, California
I climbed several mountains with hiking poles. I loved that they can be folded up and tucked in a backpack. I also use them just for regular walks down the road. (Affiliate link)
