By far, our most read book to date! I think she would have me read this to her nonstop, if she could.
The humorous and matter-of-fact approach this book takes is great! Some of the illustrations can be a bit..surprising..at first, however. 💩

This has been a daily read leading up to her 2nd birthday. Of course, we love Ms Rachel, and this particular book does an amazing job at preparing your little one for what to expect at a birthday party.

A classic for a reason! She was first read this during an Early Intervention session, and we have read it multiple times a day ever since. Great for working on animal names/sounds, signing, and color recognition.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? 50th
Some may consider this a controversial pick, but we are all about accepting everyone in this household. Salem immediately became obsessed with this book — especially pointing out the mermaids.

We recently discovered Daniel Tiger, and this particular book became a fast favorite for Salem. With both her dad and I previously working in restaurants, we have always been big on making sure she knows how to act when dining out.

We have several of the “Never Touch…” books and she loves them all. This one also adds a counting element, which I like.
