My 2 year old daughter, Salem, is a huge book worm. These are all the books that she has “forced” me to read her more times than I even care to think about. 😆

By far, our most read book to date! I think she would have me read this to her nonstop, if she could. The humorous and matter-of-fact approach this book takes is great! Some of the illustrations can be a bit..surprising..at first, however. 💩

This has been a daily read leading up to her 2nd birthday. Of course, we love Ms Rachel, and this particular book does an amazing job at preparing your little one for what to expect at a birthday party.

A cute rhyming story with bright illustrations. “Fum, fi, fo, fee…monsters don’t eat broccoli!” gets stuck in my head on the regular.

Sunday football with Daddy is a tradition in our home, and that’s what I’m going to credit for the fact that for at least a month, I HAD to read this a minimum of 2 times before bed.

A classic for a reason! She was first read this during an Early Intervention session, and we have read it multiple times a day ever since. Great for working on animal names/sounds, signing, and color recognition.

Some may consider this a controversial pick, but we are all about accepting everyone in this household. Salem immediately became obsessed with this book — especially pointing out the mermaids.

We recently discovered Daniel Tiger, and this particular book became a fast favorite for Salem. With both her dad and I previously working in restaurants, we have always been big on making sure she knows how to act when dining out.

We have several of the “Never Touch…” books and she loves them all. This one also adds a counting element, which I like.

She has also loved all of the “That’s Not My…” books. This particular one was one of the first books I ever bought for her, and it has definitely stood the test of time!

This was one of the first books Salem received from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library (when it was still offered in our county…😒), and I’m going to be real here…I hid it for a period of time. She wanted me to read it so much, I thought I would cr...

We have several of the books in this series, and she has loved all of them since she was around 6 months old. The flaps are made of felt so they are easy for little hands to lift (and not have to worry about tearing), and each of the books ends with ...
