Cairns is a good places to go in the dry season, I wish had done my regional work here instead of darwin. Good nights out and work around there.

This a small town above cairns and you are able to do your regional work here. I think there is a backpacker community so there is fun to be had, the beaches are lovely and it's a near thr Daintree rainforest.
