Spring means getting outside, starting those plants for your garden, cleaning up the yard, doing those projects you have thought about all winter! And you need the right tools, so here are some of my favorites!
I went live on Amazon from my side yard to show you a few of the things I got to get those backyard spring projects started!

You know how you get a new tool and you think it might get used once in a while, but then when you get it…you use it all the time and wonder how you ever lived without it. That is how I am with this LotaTools pruning shears! This cuts those smaller branches like a hot knife going through butter and I don't have to use all my strength, the tool does the hard work.

When starting seeds for my garden, I wanted some trays and know that not all of them are created equal. I ordered the RooTrimmer seed starting trays with domes and hoped for the best! These trays are great! They have a bigger cell than most I had seen, the dome was a little higher and they weren't that super flimsy plastic! In fact, I can use these again next year!
Everyone has heard of Miracle Grow Potting Soil and I normally don't like to use it due to chemicals and the fact that it can be more expensive, but when it comes to starting seeds, it is my soil of choice. It is a lightweight soil that gives the seed a little boost.

Argh, the gnats and fruit flies drive me nuts. Somehow they always fly right in your eye or up your nose. Not sure if they plan that or it just happens, either way I don't like it! Here are some great little sticky traps to help cut down on those flying bugs that are always around when you have any plants inside!

Trying to put up T-Post for a fence and I just don't have the strength or the height to use a sledge hammer, so I got this 12 pound fence post slammer. Now I can get those post in the ground by myself and get the fence up! I didn't want to sit around waiting for someone to come help!

Flies are driving me NUTS! No matter what I do, the flies this year are crazy! I got me some more disposable fly traps to hang out! I used these in Las Vegas and they worked great, so I also have them here in Kentucky! Yes, they smell and attract more flies, so you don't want them close to your house. But, they trap those lil monsters and keep them from breeding and making more (or at least I hope they do).

I have used Diatomaceous Earth for years to help keep hard bodied pest at bay. Cockroaches, beetles, fleas, ants and more! I use it on indoor and outdoor plants, around the edges of the house, under the raised porch… It doesn't kill the bugs as soon as it touches it, it takes time, but many bugs will carry it back to their family so even more get knocked off.

When I was looking for a wagon to use around the yard, at flea markets or to carry things at car shows, I wanted to make sure it had wide wheels that weren't going to get stuck in everything! So here is the HUGE Sekey wagon/cart with wide wheels and breaks! I use this wagon all the time! It saves me making more trips and less stress on my back!

Oh I love rocking chairs and this camping chair is so comfortable and easy to take anywhere.
Weeds are a problem every year and using a weed eater isn't always an option. I have free range chickens, dogs and barn cats, so chemical weed killers also isn't an option, so I use vinegar to keep the weeds down a bit. In this video I also show of my Chapin hand pump sprayer for applying the vinegar solution. I use Chapin as it is Made in the USA and they last!

I moved during the winter and started feeding the birds. I bought this YouVip Metal Roof Bird Feeder and it has been great! I like that it is sturdy and so easy to clean. I have some of the tube birdfeeders, but if they get yucky down in the tube, th... I have cardinal's and red winged black birds at this feeder all the time!

We all know that plants like sun, but sometimes that sun can be a little to much and burn your plants, so here is a mesh like sunshade that will allow them to get sun, without burning them up. Yes, these shades are also good for your kids lil pool area, the dog run and a variety of other places where you just don't want direct sun.
