When starting seeds for my garden, I wanted some trays and know that not all of them are created equal. I ordered the RooTrimmer seed starting trays with domes and hoped for the best!
These trays are great! They have a bigger cell than most I had seen, the dome was a little higher and they weren't that super flimsy plastic!

Everyone has heard of Miracle Grow Potting Soil and I normally don't like to use it due to chemicals and the fact that it can be more expensive, but when it comes to starting seeds, it is my soil of choice.

Weeds are a problem every year and using a weed eater isn't always an option. I have free range chickens, dogs and barn cats, so chemical weed killers also isn't an option, so I use vinegar to keep the weeds down a bit.
