Italy is beautiful if you ever get to go. My suggestion is if you plan on renting a car (the best way to see Everything) you should learn Italian so you can read all the signs. Also, do the speed limit on the highways!

We go to Galveston just about every year and stay at The Moody Gardens. They have the coolest aquarium and rain forest pyramids. Plus schlitterban is right in their parking lot!
