This place is one of my favorite places to visit year round. In the winter, enjoy the slopes and stay in a beautiful cabin or visit in the spring/summer time to camp and enjoy the lakes. So fun and BEAUTIFUL!
Mammoth Lakes
This little hidden gem is just around 20 miles north of Mammoth, CA and it's beautiful. It also has ski lodges to enjoy, as well as beautiful lakes and campgrounds to visit in the summer.
June Lake
Such a cute little community surrounded by gorgeous mountain views. This beauty is only a few hours away from the LA Area. Highly recommend as a quick getaway in the mountains.
Lake Arrowhead
WOW, this place is so special! Cutest little town to visit and stay (or Camp nearby). Eat at the amazing restaurants, enjoy shopping at the cutest boutiques, play some golf or go wine tasting! Bonus, you can also visit the Chumash Casino as well for a little fun.
Solvang
Enjoy a quick day trip to the Ventura Harbor Village and enjoy some great food outdoors, visit the cute little shops or take a spin out in the water on the rental pedal boats or kayaks!

Such a cool place to visit, my kids loved it. It's a former mining town that was founded back in 1876 with so much history. It's a bit of a drive back into this town, but so worth the trip!
