A Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Steps 1.) In a small Pan/Saucepan on medium-high heat, place your butter. When melted, Stir continuously until a deepen color. Turn heat to low. 2.) Add your Shortening to the butter to melt, then turn off and remove from heat to cool slightly. 3.) In a separate bowl, add both brown and granulated sugar to the bowl. Add your melted butter and shortening to the bowl. Mix until the sugars and oils are well combined. 4.) Make sure your sugar mixture is not hot! Add your eggs and mix until well combined. 5.) Add your salt, baking soda, and vanilla ,mix well. 6.) Add your flour and mix until well combined. 7.) Lastly, as much or as little chocolate chips as you want. 8.) The hard part, letting your cookie dough chill in the fridge. a minimum of 30 minutes to overnight if wanted. 9.) At least 10 minutes before you start making cookie dough balls, preheat your oven to 350 Fahrenheit. 10.) Take your chilled cookie dough and form into balls (the bigger the ball, the longer it needs to bake so I recommend turning the oven heat lower to be safe) Place on a baking sheet tray, and spread them out evenly. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or remove from the oven when turning golden brown around the edges. Wait to cool down, and you have just made brown butter chocolate chips cookies :)
