(Not exactly cheap, but it works!) Skrimps “sister” Oakley had thrush for weeks before we could finally get this and it worked great! She’s in a pasture with a pond and wouldn’t stay out of it, making her thrush worse but this helped a lot!
Pure Sole Hoof Clay for Thrush-Prone Hooves 8oz
My favorite for cutting off flappy frogs and sharp bits that pop up between trims!
VOUIU 8inch Concave Cutter Bonsai tools
This worked for milder thrush on Skrimp, but didn’t work on Oakley when she wouldn’t stay out of the dang pond!
Four Oaks No Thrush Dry Powder for Horses
This stuff hardened up Skrimps hooves and helped prevent thrush this spring!
Dr. Naylor Hoof 'N Heal, 16oz, Sheep Goat Cow Horse
Fits the bill for now, cheaper option than most, has a cradle and a peg, height adjustable too. Nice and solid!
Zonon Adjustable Metal Hoof Stand, Large Base
The packs of vet wrap we got since it’s always good to have on hand!
