This park connects to Lake hickory trails! This part has covered areas for picknicks and lake views/access.
This park has been a childhood favorite. Theres walking trails, hiking trails, a creek, picknick tables and sheds for parties and barbeque, and also there's an updated kids playground!
My favorite trails! One trail crosses the lake edge and its beautiful! This connects Hickory City Park and Geitner Park. You can also access the Greenway from here. Most of the trails are covered with trees which makes it nice and shady.
Playgrounds for the kids, picknick tables for parties, a creek, and easy hiking trails! This is one of my kids favorite parks.
This one's for the kids! This is one of the best parks around. Theres so many things to climb on and a super long slide. There's also a splash pad on the lower level.
There's a nice loop style, dog friendly, walking trail here, kayak send off, soccer fields, and kids play ground! There's actually 3 different playgrounds for the kids. Oh, and you can book the large covered area for parties.
This is my favorite spot for trails and just soaking up the sun and enjoying the lake view! There's trails for miles and a dogpark on entrance! It's so beautiful and peaceful.

The best Japanese!! This is a family owned diner and is always busy. My fav is the shrimp teriyaki.
I doubt many people know this is here, but I get doordash orders from this place all the time!! Its delicious too.
If you're looking for Italian, Carrabbas needs to be on your list! This is my favorite all time Italian restaurant. My fav dish is the Chicken Bryan with fettuccini alfredo and a caesar salad!

Mouthwatering bundt style cakes! They have different flavors and sizes. The reeces one is phenominal when they have it (it's seasonal), but otherwise, the oreo and chocolte are my favs.
This one's about 20 minutes outside of Hickory but worth the drive! It's a unique style of ice cream and so so good! They have the monster style milkshakes!

Really cool art museum! They feature a lot of the kids art from local schools which is pretty cook. Its connected to the Science center and library.

There's a play place inside both Hickory and Viewmont ChicFilA's! It's only for little kids, but my toddler loves it!
