Traveling With Your Dog: The Packing List
This is essentially your packing list for fido when you're taking him on a trip! This is the exact list we are using to take our boy Doof to the beach!
Basics
Basics you'll need when traveling such as things for walking, sleeping, and meds!
Collar and leash is an absolute necessity! Most places require your pet to be leashed at all times when outside. You also don't want to take a chance of your sweet baby going missing.
A no pull harness is an absolute must! Don't hurt your pups neck and accidentally teach your pup to pull on his leash!
Bring their bed so they feel safe and secure
Bring your pup's crate and/or play pen so you can control their access to an unfamiliar place! A play pen also doubles as off leash containment outside for potty or play.
Bring any vitamins, medications, flea/tick, etc that your pup might be on!
Food
Food, treats, and bowls!
Don't forget the treats! Traveling will be the perfect time to do some new training with your pup and also to reward when he's being extra good. Traveling can be stressful, so rewarding will help.

Don't forget the dog food! Preferably pre- measure it out and put in baggies or containers so you don't have to bring an entire bag (or accidentally not bring enough).
Toys
Bring 3 of your dog's favorite toys! Not too many to loose, but enough so your pup doesn't get bored. You'll also need a kong!

Poop bags to clean up your pup's poop!
Puppy bag to conveniently carry your poop bags, treats, and other necessities!
Just in case you have an accident, you'll need your enzymatic pet stain remover!
Don't loose that pet deposit due to hair! Pack sticky lint rollers to clean all furniture!
Travel
Travel necessities for your pup!
Don't let your pup get dehydrated! Take your travel water bowl.
