What I Use For My Soil
I use a 2:1 ratio of the products down below to create my soil. (50% top soil, 25% perlite, 25% Orcid bark). I also occasionally add things like moss or horticulture charcoal. This mix can be made in any size as long as the ratio is the same.
I use this for my top soil using it's as 50% of my soil. But you can use any tops soil preferably peat free.

I use this for the 25% perlite in my soil but again you can use any type of perlite however make sure to were a mask while adding it to the soil and mixing it as it lets of dust that can harm your lungs.!
Gro Sure Perlite 10L
I use 25% of this in my soil, it makes the soil chunkier however you can use the fine orchid bark from B&Q as it enchiches the soil as well.

These are just as good as my home made but are cheaper for one time needs or smaller plant collections.
This is the potting soil that I first used when I started plant collecting. It's very good for repotting and is very affordable compared to home made compost mixes. It comes in a range of sizes as well, you can get 4L or 10L.
Westland Peat-free Houseplant Compost 10L
This I just the smaller size of the westland. It has all the same stuff in it but better for smaller collections.

It is a free draining soil that promotes healthy root growth, it is better for larger size collection as it comes in 25L bags. It worked well for a lot of my ferns!

The Nursery Pots I Use
I use these with my new propagation plants and for plants inside decorative pots.
These are my go to for my proposition plants as they are cheap and just the right size.

I use this size for most of my ferns plants as they don't usually get to a large size for me so do nice in this size.

I have used some of these but I have also been given some that my friend have used and that they have seen grate results from.!
Highest in nitrogen promoting foliage growth it also has very clear and easy to read and understand instructions. It is also safe for kids and dogs.
