I went through four floppy aprons that slid around my waist before landing on these. Nothing worse than bending over to pull a weed and having everything dump out onto the ground.

I used to leave dull pruners in the shed and just rip stems by hand like some kind of animal. Once I started carrying sharp ones on my belt, I actually pruned things when they needed it instead of putting it off for weeks.

Bending down to grab a trowel off the ground fifty times a day was killing my back. Once I found tools with holster loops and belt clips, I saved myself about a hundred unnecessary squats per weekend.

Spent three hours kneeling on gravel once and couldn't walk right for two days. That was the weekend I finally bought real knee pads and stopped pretending I was still twenty-five.

The little stuff matters more than you think. I spent a whole afternoon looking for my garden markers once and found them in the washing machine. Now everything clips to my belt or fits in a pouch.
