The whole reason I started this list. I went through four sets of rings before landing on ones that don't stick, rust, or pop open mid-shower. That scraping sound is gone and I genuinely look forward to pulling the curtain now, which is a weird thing...

A smooth ring means nothing if your rod is bowing in the middle or crashing down at 2 AM. I learned that lesson standing naked in my bathroom holding a fallen rod. These actually stay put.

I used to have a curtain that clung to my legs like a wet ghost every single shower. Switched to ones with the right weight and material, and now it hangs where it should and dries before mildew even thinks about showing up.

My old curtain liner turned orange at the bottom within a month. I tried bleach, vinegar, prayer. These are the products that actually worked without making my bathroom smell like a pool.

Bottles falling off the corner shelf at 6 AM is a special kind of rage. I tried suction cups, tension poles, hanging caddies. These are the ones that actually held my shampoo without surrendering to gravity.

Stepped out of the shower onto a mat that slid across the floor and nearly took me out. That near-death experience led me to mats that grip the floor and actually absorb water before I track it everywhere.

Once I fixed the curtain situation, I got on a roll with tiny upgrades that each took less than five minutes. None of these cost more than a nice lunch, but together they made my bathroom feel like it got a full renovation.
