Donnie Darko
Halloween is essecential for a Halloween watch party, but there's so many sequels and remakes that are worthy. This isn't even the complete collection and I do think it's worth it to seek out the last two Halloween movies of the 2020s.

One of my favorite movies with effects that still hold up over 40 years later.
American Werewolf in London
You only need the first one.
Tremors
The first Ginger Snaps is the most popular, but I really enjoyed the second as well. If you can find the trilogy, I do think the third is worth a watch.
Ginger Snaps
There's always a tinge of sadness watching this knowing Brandon Lee's real life fate, but I think enjoying this film is a great way to celebrate a life cut way too short.
The Crow
Any list of scary movies is incomplete without The Exorcist. A true must-watch for any lover of movies.

Everyone has their favorite Nightmare on Elm Street movie and this collection has them all.
Nightmare on Elm Street Collection
The 2010s sequel is also worth a watch, but if you have to chose one, choose the 1982 movie.
Poltergeist
Maybe a controversial pick, but I like the 2011 version over the 1985 one. RIP Anton Yelchin.
Fright Night (2011)
Another collection of movies where everyone has a different favorite. For me, Child's play 1, 2, and Bride of Chucky are the mustt-sees, but the more recent sequels are still entertaining.

Honestly, I think both movie versions of Carrie are worth a watch.

An obvious choice, but a crowd favorite.
Hocus Pocus
This is a rare case of the sequel outshining the original, but both movies are worthy of a watch.
The Addams Family & Values 2 Movie Set
A treat for the kid in you.

I thought this movie was so fun and had some great “freaky” moments.
Freaky
Genuienly creepy. A worthy sequel to the Shining movie.
Doctor Sleep
A fun 90s horror movie with a stacked cast. Watched this for the first time last year and I think this will eventually become a yearly re-watch
The Faculty
This movie is more creepy and eerie than all out scary.
The Witch
This is my favorite found footage movie.
Late Night With the Devil
Truly devastating that this movie is not available on physical media, but it's worth it to find this streaming or to get the digital
Barbarian
You gotta watch this with the subtitles, not the dub.

I know, I know. I've never seen Silence of the Lambs. But we're going to fix that this year
The Silence of the Lambs
Please go see the original and the sequel before this one. I saw this in theater and had a blast. I thought it was one of the best legacy sequels I've seen in a long time.
I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025)
Not super scary and I know people are divided about this one, but regardless I think it's worth a watch.

Excited to watch this one.
