Being pregnant in a larger body brings some challenges that no one really talks about. Here are some of the things that got me through pregnancy and post-partum!

Pregnancy clothes in larger sizes are SO hard to find, especially if you don't want to spend a ton! These are my list of favorites 🩷
When I say I lived in these, I am not exaggerating. They have so many cute colors and prints, the body is loose enough that it was fine all the way through delivery, and they're nursing friendly so they're all I've worn for the last year. I was an 18...
Bearsland Women's Maternity Nursing Tank Top
Like the tanks, I lived in these short sleeved shirts both during pregnancy and while nursing! I was an 18/20 in tops before I got pregnant and am a 22/24 now, they fit loose enough to cover my belly right up until delivery and still fit me perfectly...
Bearsland Women’s Long Sleeve Nursing Top
Latched Mama is a little pricy, but they run sales pretty often and have a great size range! There are also Facebook groups specifically for buying and selling Latched Mama items that are plus sized! I found a ton of tops on there and a maxi dress th...
Latched Mama
This may be controversial but hear me out- there is no better maternity legging than Lululemon if you're plus sized. I hate it, but it is true. I tried SO MANY other options, but these leggings were so soft and comfortable, are high waisted so they c...
If you are planning on nursing and there is any chance you are going to be pumping ever, do yourself a favor and get bras that are both pumping and nursing compatible. Most are one or the other and it's so annoying! This is by far my favorite, I like...
Kindred Bravely Sublime Sports Hands-Free Pumping Bra
This is the only exception to the only buy nursing and pumping bras rule. Technically this is a pumping bra, but if you're using a non wearable pump this does not work. However, it is comfortable and actually makes the girls look good while still bei...
As Fairy Wireless Seamless Hands-Free Nursing Bra
If you are having lower back pain, this an absolute life saver! I tried a few different belly bands and this was by far the most supportive for me.
Momcozy Pregnancy Belly Band, Support Belt
Now I never found a pair of maternity jeans that I actually liked, but I was in a pinch and needed some and these were the best I could find in plus size that were $70+
Oh! Mamma Maternity Women's Straight Leg Jeans with Full Panel (Women's & Women's Plus) - Walmart.com
I found these jeans to run small, I was an 18/20 when I got pregnant and I couldn't get the size 20s pulled up. This is a great option if you're in the 16/18 range, especially because they have short and tall inseams!

In hospital supplies
Make sure these are packed in your hospital bag!
Hospitals have tons of supplies for you, but their one size fits all mesh underwear definitely did not fit my giant hips and thighs. These were comfortable and plenty stretchy. Trust the size guide, I went by my pants size and it was plenty big.
I think this is probably helpful to anyone that gives birth, but especially in a larger body this is absolutely crucial for either a c section or vaginal delivery.
Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle Postpartum Care
If you are plus size, GET A LABOR GOWN! The hospital gowns are so small and if you're plus size and want to be moving around while you're laboring, you'll thank me for having something that covers you and is soft and comfy. The Kindred Bravely gown i...

As a plus size Mom, this is HANDS DOWN the best, most comfortable, and most supportive baby carrier once you get past the tiny baby, ring sling stage. We used our lark a ton this spring! I got the plus sized and honestly, I think even at a 22/24 I co...
