Parks, markets, gardens, and other fun outdoor activity options!
Kerr Park has the best playground for toddlers (and bigger kids too!). Its fenced in and big enough that the kids can run around a bit. There are also great walking trails, a stream, basketball and tennis courts, and a skate park.

This park has some beautiful gardens maintained by a local horticulturalist. There are a few short trails, perfect for a half hour to hour walk. Trails are pretty well maintained, but they get really slippery after it rains.
bondsville mill park & gardens
Longwood Gardens is absolutely breathtaking, they have a really fun indoor children's garden, live performances, and fountain shows at night. They go all out for the holidays but make sure you get tickets for that early, they sell out quick!

This a two for one activity! They are a working farm and there are usually animals out that the kids can see. They also have a delicious creamery with a ton of ice cream flavors! They have a giant pumpkin patch, so visiting in the fall is a must!
Milky Way Farm
This is a nice small farmers market, it's in a big field so great spot to let the kids run around. There is often fun surprises like live music, bakery stands, ice cream trucks, etc. And of course, the produce is always great!
