I will dedicate this list to two mountains that deserve every respect and are admirable in every sense, and these are the most popular mountains of eastern Serbia - Rtanj and Stara planina (Old mountain). In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful trails because it truly has everything—forests, rocky sections, and open pastures. Beljanica is a wonderful, spacious mountain with rich plant and wildlife diversity. There is also plenty to see in the surrounding area, making the whole region worth exploring. It is important that it is comfortable, that it regulates the temperature, i.e. that it keeps us warm when it is cold and that our skin breathes when it is warm. While hiking, it happened to me that I was very hot in the winter, and I did not dare to take off my clothes because there was a strong and cold wind blowing. A very unpleasant feeling. That is why it is important that our skin breathes and that we do not sweat. We must choose quality wisely and very carefully, and on the other hand, that we do not need so much money for it and that it matches our taste and style. All of this is taken into account, and I hope that with this list I will help you find exactly what you need.

I will often add to this list, because jackets are very diverse, activities are different and weather conditions are often unpredictable.

I've had a downpour on the mountain many times, even though I've looked at the weather forecast many times and it showed sunny weather. Rain on the mountain can really happen in a second, so it's good to always have a raincoat in your backpack that's light, doesn't take up too much space, and isn't heavy to carry. I am making this list driven by yesterday's experience and an event that I will remember for a long time. Namely, yesterday we climbed Rtanj, a famous mountain in eastern Serbia, where, as every year, a large number of mountaineers from Serbia and the region participated in the big Christmas climb to Rtanj. Everything was wonderful, smiling people, atmosphere, nature, energy, but my big mistake was that I didn't have crampons. It was difficult to climb, and also to descend on the icy path, which was not difficult for me in previous campaigns, this year I really struggled. Poles helped me with the climb and descent, a friend who supported me from behind, but if I had crampons everything would have been perfect. That is why, so that you don't make the same mistake as me, I am suggesting some of the crampons in this list, and I am sure that you will choose excellent ones for you.

How many times would I have failed to climb a climb without poles, on Rtanj, thanks to them, I was able to reach the top and descend to the foothills.
