The postcard beach — turquoise water between two cliffs. Go early to beat the tour buses, and if you're brave, the cliff jump is a rite of passage.
Grote Knip (Playa Kenepa Grandi)
Calm, clear, and family-proof. This is the beach I'd send anyone with kids to — soft sand, shade, and snorkeling right off the shore.
Cas Abao Beach
Beach clubs, restaurants, and shopping on one strip. Easiest day-to-night spot on the island — swim in the afternoon, dinner and music after dark.
Mambo Beach Boulevard
The Swinging Old Lady — the floating bridge that connects Punda and Otrobanda. Walk it at sunset when the colored buildings light up. This is the photo everyone takes home.
Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge
Where Willemstad actually eats lunch. Local kitchens under one roof — stoba, fresh catch, giant portions, small prices. Skip the tourist restaurants and come here hungry.
Plasa Bieu (Old Market)
The wild north coast — waves exploding through blowholes, sea turtle nesting coves, and not a resort in sight. The rough side of the island most visitors never see.
Shete Boka National Park
Climb Mt. Christoffel early — they stop summit hikes mid-morning because of the heat. From the top you see the whole island. Worth every drop of sweat.

Million-year-old limestone caves, naturally cool inside — the perfect escape on the hottest afternoons. Kids love the guided tour.
