3.5 out of 5. Received a signed copy at an evening with Sam in Edinburgh. The memoir provides some intimate insights into his life but was a bit grasping at points. Did enjoy it for the most part.

A solid 4 out of 5. Laugh out loud funny and an easy enough read considering it was written in the latter years of the 19th century.
