The Portuguese wines under $25 you must try!
As a Portuguese wine specialist, I only want you to find wines that will really be enjoyed. I want everyone to love Portuguese wines as much as I do so I have compiled this list of wines under $25 that I have tried, some more than once and love. My goal is to only share wines I would buy my friends!
Rosé Wines
Rosé wines from Portugal are absolutely must try wines. Ignore the complete rubbish about Provence and light colored rosé wines being the best quality. This is totally untrue and based off marketing opinions not facts. In Portugal you find rosé wines of every pink hue. They are full of flavor and acidity and way better priced than most of Europe. These wines I have had, I only recommend wines I have tasted myself.
I have found your soon to be favorite rosé wine! Casa Santa Eulália makes one of the most flavorful rosé wines I have ever tasted… and I taste a ridiculous amount of wine for a living. Rosé all day! This rosé will blow you away. I promise you, those pale rosé wines that are trendy from France are fine by a pool on a hot day but they are pretty unexciting. Portugal blows rosé expectations away. Bursting with red fruit and stone fruit flavors this is a gastronomic wine.
White Wines
Some of the most stunning white wines I have ever had are from Portugal. This is a curated list based on wines I have tried. I only recommend wines I truly love. Portugal is what I am a specialist in, so please trust my recommendations as the truth.
Looking for a refreshingly crisp white wine for summer that packs flavor, look no further than this Vinho Branco. A blend of native Portuguese grapes grown in the Lisboa region along the Atlantic coast.
Summertime is all about the Porto Tonico while traveling Portugal. So, this white Port will take you to that gorgeous country in your glass. Mix it with ice, tonic, orange and rosemary and boom, the most stunningly refreshing summer drink!

Red Wines
I have no doubt Portuguese red wines will become your new favorite. There is absolutely no better value for quality than a Portuguese red wine. These are some of my favorite wines under $25, I have had them all and some many times.
A stunning red wine for under $20 from the Lisboa region in Portugal. Touriga Franca is one of the most planted grapes in Portugal, yet not usually seen as a single varietal wine. This is a must try for any red wine lover.
Here we go again, another option for your summer Porto Tonico is to use a Ruby Port, this one is excellent. You serve over ice with an orange slice and maybe some club soda or tonic. Such a good entry into the world of Port wines!
A lovely Lisboa region red blend from the 2022 Portuguese winemaker of the year. This is a must try from the region and what a great bang for your buck!
The most unique red wine you will ever have. Traditionally drunk from a ceramic bowl, this wine is dark, inky, refreshing, dry and a complete next level experience. One of my favorites and you won't find many!
Summer reds are served chilled, which is how this beautiful red blend should be enjoyed. I think it will delight your palate with berries and violets bursting your taste buds. It pairs amazing with a grilled chicken salad, not that I am pushing that on you!
