Swimming essentials, what you need for a day at the pool
These are the essentials that every swimmer needs. Goggles, Sunscreen, water bottles, and swimsuits. What I would recommend every beginner starts with. You can start swimming without most of the equipment, then pick them up later if you choose to
Goggles, Water, & Sunscreen
The basics for a day of swimming. What do you need? a good water bottle, goggles, and some sunscreen to not burn.
Best goggles I have found personally, been using these for years. I often don't like the look of goggles and think they look childish. These have a more adult vibe.
Are those goggles strapes pesky and hard to adjust in a pinch? The bunnies are so easy to use and cheap to buy. They work so well and are easy to adjust once on, dare I even say they are kind of stylish.
There are so many designs with this water, I personally use mine every day. It even has times for everyday use when you aren't swimming. There is one downside to this bottle it is not insolated, I recommend using ice in the summer, or just putting it in the shade. I don't like the taste of melted ice so I leave mine in the shade and it does just fine.
Not much to say here, it's Sunscreen. I find that this one holds on really well in the water, for a couple of hours for me. If you don't want to burn you need sunscreen and one that will stay on.
Mineral Sunscreen is usually known for its ability to stick to the skin. This one is also hydrating for your skin, and non-greasy, which means it usually won't get in your eyes, as sunscreen likes to run when wet.
Men's swim suits
Us Men have two options when it comes to swimsuits, for EFFECTIVE swimming, the Speedo and Jammers. They both have their benefits and cons. The Speedo offers more mobility but less coverage, and the Jammer is the exact opposite. I do not recommend so...
Speedos are great for showing off that physique you worked so hard for. This is a high-quality speedo that won't let anything slip out while swimming. Yes, this does happen to people. It does have drawstrings inside, but id still makes sure you know your measurements before ordering.
These Jammers are slim and stylish. They are also chlorine resistant and have drawstrings on the inside. The pattern is nice, and they provide great support for your, clears throat, package. They offer little resistance when swimming and the design keeps mobility to the maximum.
Best rash guard I have found, amazing designs, slimming, and if you wear normal trunks, the shirt keeps your trunks from falling when pushing off of a wall.
Good swim trunks that provide an inner lining like boxers, so if you like going commando in a pool, these are for you.
Swim trunks that are a bit on the shorter side. Look great on someone who is fit. You need to be comfortable in your own skin wearing theses, if you are going with the swim trunk options.
Womens swim suits and caps
Best swimsuits for Women, both slimming and stylish, to help with the best glides in the water and comfort. Also has the caps that I recommend for different hair lengths.
A two-piece swimsuit for women. I am not sure why all of my swim friends love Jolyn swimsuits, but they seem to love their 2 pieces the most.
Another two piece womens swimsuit. Has more coverage for a two piece. Well fitting, and wont move too much.
This women's one-piece is good for covering everything, and adding to that slimming figure, with splashes of color on the sides, or just black. The straps are easily adjustable, and it even comes with removable pads.
Women's premium swim competition suit. It covers most of the legs and upper chest. Great if you want more coverage, but beware of the tan lines
This swim cap is good, for that sleek look, and shouldn't pull your hair, best for short, or medium hair.
If you don't like the feel of latex this is a good fabric cap. good for all hair lengths
If your hair is long and has Braids or dreads, I highly recommend a bigger cap for the best comfort. This cap is large enough to fit the biggest of hair, without damaging it.
