Piedmont Park has the best ATL skyline views. We love it for its walking paths, recreation spaces (sports fields, pool), and it is where many of the best festivals happen/
Piedmont Park
Just go…Trust me on this one!
Atlanta Botanical Garden
It is truly the Grand Canyon of the East. Pack some snack though. Not much else in the area.
Providence Canyon State Park
This used to actually be a place for repairing train and cargo cars. Now on weekends, you will find food trucks and events, like Chefs Market and Skate Night. There also are pickleball courts at Pullman Yard
Pullman Yards
If you like luxury cars and planes, see some of the privately owned Porsche cars on display and you can customize your own car in the design studio. You can eat at Restaurant 356 as you watch flights take off from the Atlanta airport. There is also a Kimpton Hotel on the property.
Porsche Experience Center Atlanta
This isn't just any zoo. Zoo Atlanta is great, even for adults. You book a Wild Encounter in advance to see what a day is like for the Animal Care Team, where they help save animals. Get up close with the animals by feeding the giraffes or visiting the petting zoo.
Zoo Atlanta
If you like T.I. and trap music, this is where you'll want to be. That's the note!
