One of our favourite basics are the Levi T-shirts, they are a really good quality and fit really well on a broad chest despite being standard sizing (bonus points for the fact there is always a good deal)

These were a brilliant find- as they’re designed for broader and bigger guys, he was able to be comfortable and confident without having to go oversized! They also do gym tops now which is great

ASOS do a fab big and tall range and this ling sleeve top is such a good basic, long sleeve tops for men seem to be hit and miss with the arms often being too tight but their big and tall seem to be just right

Again with the Levi’s (he found a brand he liked and it hasn’t failed him yet) Their men’s denim jackets are perfect in the autumn and winter, either by themselves over a tee or as that final layer over flannels and hoodies!

For the more skinny jeans style, next have also been a consistent option with their slim fit jeans fitting really well in length and on the thighs

These were possibly the first jeans in our wardrobe upgrade and have a really good amount of give for the larger thighs! Also Levi stores tend to offer alterations which is brilliant if they end up a bit too long after sizing up

Now I never would have thought of Primark for men’s jeans however their baggy men’s boyfriend jeans fit amazing on broader thighs and also sit high on the waist which was a huge confidence helper!
