Yes there's always a crowd after 7 PM but thick malai on top, strong karak taste, served very hot - totally worth it. My go-to after office when I want real doodh patti, not too sweet, perfectly balanced. I usually pay Rs. 180 for matka. Quick serv...

My evening spot on Tariq Road after shopping! The vibe is just different - bikes parked, lights from cloth shops, and steaming cutting chai from that famous dented kettle.
Their kadak chai is pure nostalgia, served very hot in small glasses, perfectly balanced and not too sweet. I love sitting here and watching the rush. Super affordable too, Rs. 120 for chai. Best for quick evening relaxation when you are in Tariq R...

Best sea view in Karachi! Went there for my cousin's birthday dinner, we booked a table near the railing around 6:30 PM for sunset — view was magical.
Their BBQ platter with naan, raita and green chutney was excellent, enough for 2-3 people. After BBQ, their pink Kashmiri chai with pista and badaam is a must-try, served in a proper cup, not cutting chai.
Yes it's a bit expensive, around Rs. 2500 per person, but perfect for family dinners or special occasions. Highly recommended for a premium evening at Do Darya. Make sure to reserve in advance on weekends.

Oldest and most famous food street in Karachi - you can feel the history! Evening me hamesha rush hota hai around 8 PM, but that's the real vibe.
Their matka chai is legendary, thick malai on top served in a real clay kullad, strong and hot. I always order bun kebab + chai combo here, spicy chutney wala bun with kadak chai - best value for money, around Rs. 350 for combo.
Must-visit if you love street food vibe. I go with 3-4 friends, we share plates and order 2 chai each. Go after 7:30 PM when all stalls are fully lit.

World-famous nihari from Karachi, even featured internationally and my personal favorite since childhood.
The nihari is thick, spicy, full of beef boti, topped with fresh adrak and hari mirch. I always order one extra naan and finish with their doodh patti kullad chai — that chai after spicy nihari is a must.
Evening rush is crazy here, around 8-10 PM you will have to wait 10 mins for table, but taste is unbeatable. One plate is around Rs. 650 plus naan. A must-try for anyone visiting Tariq Road.
