Things you should have on hand when packing for delivery and after delivery.
These travel bags work amazing as hospital bags for when you go into labor!
Lightweight Travel Bags
Aussie has always been my go to when packing for my hospital stay!
Shop for Hair Products
An extra blanket or 2 have always been an essential.
Fuzzy Blankets
Wireless bras that give you good support and don’t feel uncomfortable are always a must have! I usually bring a few when packing.

My go to for moisture is my Jergens original scent lotion! It’s always been my favorite scent and it keeps my skin nice and soft.
Jergens Original Scent Dry Skin Body Lotion
A couple pairs of shorts with a nice stretch and soft material are always nice to have on hand.
Comfy Shorts
If your hospital does not supply this, I highly suggest you go and grab a few. My hospital supplies this and it’s a lifesaver!
Pain & Itch Relief First Aid Spray & Cloths | Dermoplast®
These are my favorite breast pads to use when I can get them. Lots of times we go to Walmart and they are out of stock.
Lansinoh Stay Dry Disposable Nursing Pads
I recommend just bringing some plain tshirts because I changed clothing a lot. I didn’t like to feel sweaty with my postpartum sweatiness! Make sure they’re stretchy and a soft material so you and baby will be comfy.
Stretchy T Shirts
These brushes are just always the ones I’ve used but bringing a brush is essential!
Conair Gel Grip All Purpose Hair Brush
Loose feeling hair ties, because it’s very hard to fix your hair with all the stuff you are hooked up to. Don’t recommend hair clips because they are super uncomfortable.
Hair Ties for All Hair | Tight Grip & Non-Slip
These were definitely lighter and more comfy than what you get at the hospital!
Always Maxi Size 5 Extra Heavy Overnight Pads with Wings, Unscented
This is my go to for facial wash! It helps with pregnancy acne also!
Facial Cleansing Gel
I also picked up one of these at my local hyvee with the cutest little toothpaste!
Travel Toothbrush Kit
I like using these to save time with flossing and you don’t have to do the extra work!
Flossers
I highly recommend bringing your own robe too! It makes for a more comfortable stay.
Women's Robes and Slippers
Fuzzy and comfy socks are a must have! I usually just go and grab a few pairs from any store nearby! I changed my socks a lot during my hospital stay.
