For fine strands. Yes, you can have thick curly hair and it still be fine. I prefer the original, but I use this before straightening my hair since it's lightweight which should help produce silkier results.

So creamy and good! Works so well and so fast it's almost like a deep conditioner; I even feel like I can get away with no leave-in. You need less than you think. Great for detangling. The shampoo and conditioner have me wanting to buy the entire Curls line.
Surface Curls Conditioner
I recently tried this again and am surprised at how well it conditions and smooths. It smooths, which helps with detangling, but it doesn't have much slip. This is for nourishing and hydrating hair, not major detangling.

Creamy and lightweight, yet provides good moisture and slip. I only need about a quarter-sized amount per section of hair. Hair stays moisturized for a full week. Great primer for any styler; haven't noticed any flaking. The scent of the Curls line reminds me of Dedcool's Taunt with a touch of cocoa.

I only had to use about 2 pumps on each quadrant of my shoulder length hair. Left my hair shinier, smoother, and more defined. Even though I could not stop touching my hair, the definition held up with little frizz over the course of a week and a half.
Nº.5 LEAVE-IN MOISTURIZE & MEND LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER
Kinky Curly has some of the best products to ever do it! This can be used as a rinse-out or leave-in conditioner, but I always use it as a leave-in. It has slippery elm and marshmallow root making it one of the best detangling and moisturizing conditioners. The best primer for Curl Custard Gel. You'll have the best wash-n-go when pairing the two.

I've used it years ago for a twist-out that was very lackluster. However, I recently tried it paired with No. 7 and the results were a defined twist-out that was touchably smooth and soft for a full week. This is a good cream to use if blowing out your hair for smooth results.

Pillow soft indeed! I've had my softest, fluffiest bantu knot outs with this. Very lightweight and softening. Heavily fragranced, smells like fabric softener, which I like, but those that are sensitive probably won't.

In-between a gel and a cream, this emulsion is my favorite for wash-n-gos with movement. The sweet almond oil and honey keep hair moisturized for weeks! Lengthens and defines with a medium-firm, yet flexible hold. Zero flaking, tons of shine! My number one recommendation from Miss Jessie's. I cannot get enough of it and will always repurchase!

Softening and defining. Pair with No. 9 for even more slip and definition. I did have flaking when doing a wash-n-go, but it may have been the leave-in I used and using too much product. When I used No. 5 Leave-In I had less flaking. Even less, virtually no flaking when doing a twist-out. Can't wait to try it with No. 7 and see if that results in no flaking.
